ESOP 2024 in Stuttgart

Occultations are a very important tool in astronomy, to get high precision data of distant objects. To organise national and international observation campaigns, IOTA (International Occultation Timing Association) has been founded (Homepage of the European Section of IOTA: IOTA-ES).

Once a year, the people involed with occultations meet at the common conference ESOP (European Symposium on Occultation Projects). We are honored, that Stuttgart was chosen to be the host of the 43rd ESOP.

We invite everyone interested in astronomical occultations to join the ESOP 2024 in Stuttgart.
